All ages below are in the “Under” format. It depends on the age the athlete turns in the membership year, they will then run in the age group up – so for example a child turning 9 in 2022 will be running under 10, a child turning 10 in 2022 is U/11, turning 12 is U/13 etc.

Timetable for Day 4 – Saturday 19th February:

The National Indoor Arena will not be operating a check-in system on the day. However, athletes MUST be present in assembly at their designated time to be included in heats.
Please remind your athletes who participated last week to bring their bib numbers.

ONLY 5mm SPIKES MAY BE USED

Athletes U14 upwards must use starting blocks. Only starting blocks provided by the organising committee may be used. Starting blocks are optional for U12 and U13

Athletes should not arrive any earlier than 1 hr in advance of his/her event and MUST exit the venue no later than 15mins after the event.

There will be an admission fee to the facility of €5 per day for non competing athletes/adults.

Day 1 Saturday             5th February      U15 – U19 Individual events     

Check in 

200m (ONLY) – Opens at 9am and close at 9.30am

800m – Opens at 10am and close at 10.45am (athletes will not be allowed to check in earlier)

60m Hurdles – Opens at 12.15  and closes at 1pm

800m Finals – Opens at 2.30pm and closes at 3pm 

Day 2 Sunday               6th February      U15 – U19 Individual events     

Check in 

400m – Opens at 9am and close at 9.30am

1500m – NO check-in as all are FINALS

60m – Opens at 11:30 and closes at 12:30

Athletes competing on both days and/or returning for a final on the same day MUST retain their Bib number.

An appointed club official should collect and sign for an envelope (Nuala Gordon for Skerries AC on Saturday morning and Liam Harpur for Sunday morning) that will contain the list of their athletes, bid numbers and pins. Athletes should be made aware of the name of their club official who has responsibility for issuing the numbers. Please ensure the correct number is worn by the athlete.   

Wrist bands will be allocated for coaches 1 for every 15 athletes entered. This will give free access to the stadium and the warm up area. 

All other adults and spectators will be charged an admission fee of 5 euro and will be issued with a wrist band which MUST be worn at all times.

There will be a one way system in operation.

Face masks MUST be worn at ALL times, except when warming up and competing.

Athletes and parents/guardians should leave the stadium as soon as possible after their event is finished.

ALL officials should check in by 8.45am on the morning, unless assigned to a later event. A list of officials and duties will be circulated tomorrow.

Please be advised, the timetable is subject to change, events could be earlier or later than the scheduled time.
