The curtain came down on the Juvenile Spring series for 2013 in Morton Stadium, Santry yesterday. Many thanks to Clonliffe Harriers AC
for hosting and for the very welcome hot drinks and sandwiches afterwards!! All the children and parents who turned out yesterday must be commended as the conditions were particularly trying with a bitterly cold biting easterly wind to contend with. Top 6 finishes from the following:

SIAB Schools Cross Country International in Wales

Best of luck to Isabel Carron and Rhona Pierce as they depart for the SIAB Schools Cross Country International in Wales tomorrow. Following their phenomenal success at the Aviva All-Ireland Schools CC Championships both girls were selected to represent the Irish Schools team. Round 1 of the juvenile Spring Series

Round 1 of the juvenile Spring Series took place this morning on the South Beach. It was great to see so many children out running and taking part in athletics, for many it was their first time running in a race and you can all be very proud of yourselves. Congratulations to everyone who took part, many thanks to all the parents who helped with marshalling, making tea/coffee, sandwiches, home baked goods, without your help the mornings events would not have gone so smoothly.
Round 2 takes place next Sunday 10th March in Portmarnock 11am start time, details will be sent out during the week.

Great day for Skerries AC athletes….All-Ireland glory for Skerries Community College as they take the Inter girls team title, Isabel Carron taking the silver medal and leading her team to a fantastic victory, very proud day!!

Round 2 of the juvenile Spring Series took to Portmarnock yesterday.
