Congratulations to everyone who competed in todays Dublin Uneven Ages Championships in Marlay Park…Well done to our individual medallists, u9 Lorcan Devine, u11 Ruby Pereira, Lottie Simmons, u13 Sarah Whelan, Stephen O’Connor, u15 Isabel Carron, Rhona Pierce, Sarah Byrne, Eryn Devine, u17 Aine McCarthy…and also to our teams who qualified for the Nationals, u11 girls 3rd, Ruby Pereira, Lottie Simons, Lily Heaney, Ciara Whelan, Kerrie Costello and our Dublin Champions u/15 girls, Isabel Carron, Rhona Pierce, Sarah Byrne, Eryn Devine, Aoimhe Downey, Sive Duncan
Well done to our athletes representing Skerries Community College and CUS who were in competition in todays Clonliffe/Brother at your Side Schools Invitational in Santry Demesne. Conor Tuck and Sive Duncan were in action in the Junior races over 2500mtrs (boys)/2000mtrs(girls) both having consistent runs and finishing in 18th and 15th place respectively. Intermediate girls from Skerries CC were led home in 2nd place by Isabel Carron, followed by Rhona Pierce in 3rd, Sarah Byrne 10th, Aoimhe Downey 16th, Laura Costello 17th and Ellen Tuck 21st, the girls also scooping the top honours in the team event. Gavin O’Rourke (CUS) was competing in the Senior Boys race and finished 10th overall. A good days racing by all, well done!
