Congrats to Ruby Pereira and Lottie Simons on their Inter-County bronze medals with Dublin, Stephen O’Connor also picking up Inter-County bronze with Dublin, Isabel Carron & Rhona Pierce finishing in 8th and 11th place and earning National individual medals as well as being 2nd and 3rd scorers on the winning Dublin Inter-County team and also being part of the u15 Skerries club team who took bronze together with Sarah Byrne, Eryn Devine, Aoimhe Downey & Sive Duncan. Superb runs by our other athletes, u11 Lily Heaney and Ciara Whelan, u13 Sarah Whelan and u17 Aine McCarthy who all had much improved placings on previous years. Great day for the club!!

Skerries Community College

Well done to our athletes representing Skerries Community College and CUS who were in competition in todays Clonliffe/Brother at your Side Schools Invitational in Santry Demesne. Conor Tuck and Sive Duncan were in action in the Junior races over 2500mtrs (boys)/2000mtrs(girls) both having consistent runs and finishing in 18th and 15th place respectively. Intermediate girls from Skerries CC were led home in 2nd place by Isabel Carron, followed by Rhona Pierce in 3rd, Sarah Byrne 10th, Aoimhe Downey 16th, Laura Costello 17th and Ellen Tuck 21st, the girls also scooping the top honours in the team event. Gavin O’Rourke (CUS) was competing in the Senior Boys race and finished 10th overall. A good days racing by all, well done!
